The PPC-1000 is an easy to use programmable pressure generator.  Pressure levels from –150 to +150 mmHg are generated by a stepping motor driven bellows, thereby eliminating the need for a pressure source.  This stand alone system is ideally suited for small, fixed volume applications

Designed to work in conjunction with our PPC-1000 pressure delivery system, the neck chamber is a flexible chamber that is capable of maintaining both positive and negative pressures on the neck.  The flight version has flown successfully on multiple Space Shuttle missions and the product is in service at numerous Universities and in Medical Research.

We use off-the-shelf equipment and controllers when cost / design constraints allow.  Not one to reinvent the wheel, EDL selected a commercial robot for the lapping system shown here.  The Robotic Lapping System is used to grind (lap) small automotive parts to within 5 microns flatness.  Capable of picking up 6 pieces at a time, the custom designed gripper pics and return parts to a handling tray.

The Oxygen Sensor Test Stand represents only one of over three hundred pieces of Industrial Equipment designed and manufactured by EDL.  This particular test stand was designed to test automotive oxygen sensor in a simulated auto exhaust system.
